Police stated that a female individual was apprehended for potential homicide following the discovery of a deceased 10-year-old girl at a residence in the West Midlands.

Police went to a location on Robin Close in the town of Rowley Regis around 12:10pm on Monday and discovered a child with injuries. The girl was declared deceased at the location.

A female, believed to be acquainted with the young girl, has been apprehended and placed in custody for interrogation, according to the West Midlands police.

Police officer Dan Jarratt stated that officers would be present in the vicinity, and expressed, “It’s devastating that a young girl has passed away. Our condolences go out to her family and anyone affected by this tragic event.”
