On New Year’s Eve, a man was arrested following the discovery of two deceased women at a residence in Cheadle, Staffordshire.
According to Staffordshire police, the individual, who is 68 years old, has been taken into custody for allegedly committing two murders.
Police responded to a residence on Park Lane at 3pm on December 31st following the discovery of one deceased woman and one injured woman. In an official statement, the police stated that a man has been arrested in connection with the deaths of two women at a residence in Cheadle.
“We received a call regarding the discovery of a woman’s body and another woman who was injured. Both women were declared deceased around 3:50pm.”
“A 68-year-old male resident of Cheadle has been taken into custody on suspicion of committing two murders.”
The Staffordshire police are encouraging anyone who has information or footage to come forward.
