According to authorities, two males were discovered deceased at a residence in Hartlepool, located in County Durham.
The police found the bodies on Friday night, right before midnight. A woman in her thirties has been apprehended for potential involvement in the murder and has been freed on bail as the investigation persists.
The authorities have stated that the relatives of the two individuals have been notified and are receiving assistance from officers specially trained for such situations.
According to a statement from Cleveland police, officers were summoned to a residence on Eaglesfield Road in Hartlepool at approximately 11:40pm on March 15th, where the deceased bodies of two males were found.
Police are looking into the events that led to their passing.
The authorities have blocked off a section of the road and increased police presence in the vicinity.
A woman in her 30s was detained for alleged murder and has been released on bail as investigations proceed. Authorities are conducting visible patrols to provide reassurance and will continue to do so in the following days. The police spokesperson urged anyone who may have information related to the incident to come forward.
A representative from North East ambulance service (NEAS) stated that they received a report at 11:36pm about a severe occurrence at a personal residence on Eaglesfield Road in Hartlepool. The police were also present at the location.
“We dispatched a duty officer, a clinical team leader, and an emergency ambulance crew. All NEAS resources were recalled at the scene.”
