Nick Kyrgios, a well-known tennis player from Australia, has recently decided to join OnlyFans in order to provide exclusive content for his fans as an athlete.

Australian professional tennis player Nick Kyrgios has declared his plans to establish an OnlyFans account which will be accessible at no cost, as a means of engaging with the general audience in a unique manner.

The individual, aged 28, who came in second place to Novak Djokovic at Wimbledon in 2022 but was unable to participate due to injuries for most of this previous season, has only competed in one authorized singles game in 2023.

OnlyFans, headquartered in London, is a website that allows individuals to subscribe and pay content creators for access to their photos and videos. Kyrgios, a notable male athlete, has recently become a member of the platform.

“He expressed his desire to be a part of the social media revolution,” he stated.

Professional sports players must now not only attend physical games, but also maintain a strong online presence. I aspire to generate, manufacture, oversee, and possess original content, as that is the direction in which the industry is heading.

Kyrgios is regularly vocal outside of the tennis court, openly discussing his mental health and exhibiting outlandish behavior on the court. This has garnered attention and at times led to consequences from the governing bodies of the sport.

“Keily Blair, CEO of OnlyFans, expressed excitement in welcoming Nick to our platform as his disruptive nature brings new opportunities for sharing content and self-expression.”

Kyrgios stated that he has gained an understanding of what his supporters desire to witness throughout his career.

He stated that there will be tennis balls, tips, tricks, and behind the scenes footage, but viewers will also get to see all aspects of his persona.

“I will be sharing my love for gaming, tattoos, and my personal side with fans and taking them on the journey with me!”

Kyrgios is known for having one of the most powerful serves in tennis, and he has shown that he can defeat top players such as Djokovic, Nadal, and Federer on the court.

He has achieved a ranking as high as No 13 in the world, but his current absence from competition means he does not currently have an ATP ranking. He has won seven singles titles and has accumulated over $12 million in prize money.

Kyrgios’ most notable individual performance was at last year’s Wimbledon, where he advanced further than the quarter-finals in a major tournament for the first time. He also won the first set against Djokovic, who currently holds the record for most men’s major titles at 24, before ultimately losing with a final score of 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 (3).

The two weeks of impressive performance were not only notable for his tennis skills. At Wimbledon, Kyrgios was penalized $10,000 for spitting towards a spectator who was heckling him during his first-round match. He also received a $4,000 fine for using profanity during a tense third-round match against Stefanos Tsitsipas, who later accused him of “bullying” and having a “mean side”.

The recent tennis season did not start well for Kyrgios as he had to pull out of the Australian Open in January due to needing knee surgery. He also faced a wrist injury later on.

Prior to withdrawing from Wimbledon in early July, Kyrgios was questioned during a press conference about whether he felt the absence of tennis during his time off.

He stated, “Honestly, I don’t miss the sport. I was somewhat apprehensive about returning.” However, he acknowledged that it is his profession.

There is uncertainty about Kyrgios’ participation in the upcoming Australian Open in Melbourne, which takes place in January. However, Craig Tiley, the head of Tennis Australia, stated that he anticipates Kyrgios will be present “in some capacity”.

According to Tiley, the updates are happening daily with him.

“Ideally, Nick will join us in some capacity in January, as he is a fan favorite. We enjoy having him around and look forward to seeing him play.”
