Sabalenka was set to play in the Miami Open when the news broke, and Wozniacki, visibly emotional, shared her sadness during a press conference. Pictures of Sabalenka practicing the day after Koltsov’s death were shared on social media. According to authorities, Koltsov, a 42-year-old former professional hockey player, died by suicide in Miami.
