Carlos Alcaraz successfully defended his Indian Wells championship by defeating fourth seed Daniil Medvedev in a 7-6 (5), 6-1 match. Initially, Medvedev took the lead with a 3-0 advantage as Alcaraz struggled with mistakes. However, Alcaraz found his rhythm and narrowly won the first set in a tie-break, ultimately securing a magnificent victory. At only 20 years old, he is the second player to win five Masters 1000 titles before the age of 21, joining Rafael Nadal, and has a total of 13 tour titles.
