There, you can join music industry professionals and trendy young individuals as they wander around the city, hoping to catch a glimpse of the next big thing in music. The festival takes place all over the city, with concerts in every possible space. Past performances have included Lizzo, Little Simz, and Wolf Alice, and this year’s highlights include acts like Belgian synthpopper Bolis Pupul and the highly anticipated band Picture Parlour. As it is a city-wide festival, accommodations such as tents are not available and it is recommended to book an Airbnb or leave on the last train.

Parenting or having limited annual leave may have hindered your ability to go on a three-day extravagant event, but BST Hyde Park offers a chance for a reminiscent dance. You can choose from a lineup of artists such as Robbie Williams, Kings of Leon, Shania Twain, and Kylie Minogue (or Andrea Bocelli, for a more sophisticated option). As for the younger generation, South Korean superstars Stray Kids will be ending this year’s lineup with their first ever UK headlining show.

This yearly event in Victoria Park, located in east London, offers a small taste of a festival sponsored by corporations that doesn’t overstay its welcome. The daytime activities for this year are centered around popular emo artists from the 2000s (the Postal Service), older club-goers (LCD Soundsystem), introspective favorites from radio station 6 Music (Loyle Carner), and diverse DJ producers (Kaytranada).
