Diddy, the well-known rapper and businessman also known as Sean Combs, faced a lawsuit on Monday from a music producer alleging sexual assault and coercion into engaging in sexual acts with prostitutes.
A complaint was filed in New York federal court, alleging that Combs engaged in multiple instances of unwelcome fondling and physical contact. It also states that the man was forced to work in a bathroom while Combs showered and walked around unclothed.
The lawyer representing Combs dismissed the events outlined in the lawsuit as “complete fabrication”.
Shawn Holley, the attorney for Combs, stated that they possess undeniable evidence that contradicts his statements. They plan to refute these absurd accusations in court and pursue legal recourse against the individuals responsible for them.
Tyrone Blackburn, the attorney who submitted the legal claim on behalf of the producer, did not promptly respond to an email requesting a statement.
The lawsuit alleges that Combs coerced the producer into soliciting prostitutes and pressuring him to engage in sexual acts with them. It also recounted a incident where the producer woke up in bed with two sex workers, suspecting that he had been drugged.
Combs has been facing multiple lawsuits for sexual assault in recent months, with one of them being a settlement with R&B singer Cassie from last year. Another accuser claimed that the hip-hop producer assaulted her when she was only 17 years old, also naming Harve Pierre, president of Combs’s record label Bad Boy Records, and an unnamed man.
In December, Combs refuted the accusations against him, stating: “I want to make it unequivocally clear: I am not guilty of the terrible actions being claimed. I will vigorously defend my reputation, my loved ones, and the truth.”
