Law enforcement is currently looking into claims that Taylor Swift’s father physically confronted a paparazzi photographer following her concert at Sydney Eras.

The New South Wales police are looking into a claim that Taylor Swift’s father assaulted a paparazzo in Sydney, following the conclusion of her sold-out Eras Tour in Australia.

According to reports, 71-year-old Scott Swift is accused of attacking 51-year-old photographer Ben McDonald at the Neutral Bay wharf on Tuesday at approximately 2:30am. The NSW police have been notified of the incident.

According to McDonald, Taylor Swift and her group were sailing around the harbor on a luxurious yacht late in the evening following her last concert in Australia.

The famous celebrity disembarked from the boat and made their way down the dock, accompanied by bodyguards. McDonald claims that the security personnel deliberately poked umbrellas at his face and camera.

After entering her car, McDonald claims that a man hit her in the face and then proceeded to drive away in the vehicle.

“I wasn’t aware that it was her father at the moment,” stated McDonald. “It was quite surprising, but I will allow the authorities to handle it.”

McDonald stated that he utilized photographs he had captured to positively identify the individual as Scott Swift.

He reported the accusation to the police and they began investigating through the North Shore police area command. The police stated that McDonald was not in need of medical treatment.

There have been no charges pressed.

A representative for Taylor Swift did not specifically address the accusation against her father. However, they stated that two unknown individuals were forcefully approaching Taylor, attempting to grab her security team, and threatening to throw a female staff member into the water.

On Monday night, Taylor Swift concluded the Australian portion of her Eras Tour in Sydney.

On February 16th, she put on a show for her biggest audience yet at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. She also had two more performances in Melbourne and impressed crowds at four shows at Accor Stadium in Sydney.

Approximately 600,000 individuals viewed her performances in Australia during the past two weekends.
