Billy Wright, who played as a centre-back, had a remarkable career at Wolves, amassing 490 appearances for the club and also representing England 105 times. Tragically, he passed away in 1994, and his ashes were spread on the Molineux pitch. To honor his legacy, a bronze statue was erected outside the stadium two years later. This took place at Molineux in Wolverhampton.
