The Razzies have awarded the title of worst film to Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey.

A horror film based on the beloved children’s literary character Winnie-the-Pooh faced the vengeance of Razzie voters on Saturday in the annual Oscar spoof that spotlights Hollywood’s alleged worst performances.

Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey dominated in all five of its categories at the 44th Razzies, winning for picture, director, screenplay, screen couple, and remake/rip-off/sequel.

The movie produced by Jagged Edge Productions received a negative review from Variety critic Dennis Harvey, who described it as “a subpar production that disappoints even with its unique concept.” Rotten Tomatoes has given the film a “rotten” rating.

The Razzie Redeemer Award recognizes a former nominee who has since achieved success after being nominated for a Razzie. This year, the award was given to Fran Drescher, who played The Nanny, for her role as Sag-Aftra president during the 2023 actors’ strike.

In 1998, Drescher was nominated for the Worst Actress award for her role in the romantic comedy movie “The Beautician and the Beast.”

Aaron Goldenberg and Jake Jonez, popular for their TikTok personalities as The Mean Gays, claimed to have guided Hollywood actors in a groundbreaking labor movement resulting in a remarkable agreement with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP).

Additional recipients of recognition also feature Jon Voight, known for his role in Mercy, who received the actor Razzie award for his portrayal of an Irish accent similar to that of the Lucky Charms leprechaun.

Megan Fox received two awards, one being the Razzie for her performance in Johnny & Clyde and the other for her supporting role in the action movie, Expendables 4.

Sylvester Stallone won the Razzie, also referred to as the Golden Raspberry, for his supporting performance in Expend4bles.

According to the Razzie website, over 1,100 members from various parts of the United States and approximately 24 other nations participate in voting for the awards.
