Without considering the influence of inspiration, the movie industry had minimal involvement in Glasgow’s Willy Wonka event that gained widespread attention last week due to its disastrous incompetence.
An advertisement created by AI falsely advertised a £35 event as an “immersive experience” based on Paul King’s successful film about Timothée Chalamet’s origin. However, attendees were disappointed when they entered a poorly decorated warehouse, which some compared to a meth den, and only saw a few actors in vague costumes who left quickly and in large numbers.
Children were entitled to two jelly beans and a quarter of a cup of lemonade. The police were called and the event shut after half a day.
However, the Wonka adventure may still have its chance to shine on the big screen. Kaledonia Pictures is currently working on a new film to take advantage of the widespread notoriety of the story.
The upcoming scary movie will center around The Unknown, a character created by possibly non-human means for the Glasgow production. Paul Connell, who portrayed Wonka in the performance, described the script as “15 pages of nonsensical text produced by AI,” and unveiled the Unknown as a corrupt chocolate maker residing within the walls.
The performer who portrayed The Unknown in the event discussed her involvement on TikTok.
The plot of Kaledonia centers around an artist and his spouse who are plagued by the loss of their child, Charlie. They endeavor to flee their anguish by retreating to the Scottish Highlands, but little do they know that a mysterious malevolence awaits them there.
Warner Bros, who possesses the cinematic rights to Roald Dahl’s literary character but not The Unknown, has not yet issued any statements or remarks.
Recent adaptations of beloved children’s stories, like Winnie-the-Pooh, have not received favorable reviews.
